Back in the win column! After Chris Honeycutt’s second loss of his career last December, he took a half year off and it seemed to have paid off. He came to the same exact building and dominated his opponent, Leo Leite in a dominant unanimous decision He won all 3 scorecards 30-25 against a BJJ practicioner who had the same skillset of Chris Lovato, the man who beat Honeycutt last December.

Honeycutt is now 11-2 as a professional and has a 7-2-1 record in Bellator. Honeycutt is now closing in on Lovato, Gegard Mousasi, and Alex Shlemenko for a title shot. However, middleweight is log jammed right now due to the upcoming Gegard Mousasi-Rory MacDonald fight, especially if MacDonald wins.
